Miami Cancer Institute’s Pediatric Radiation Oncology Clinic provides a warm, safe and welcoming area for our youngest patients and their families. We are proudly associated and actively collaborating with South Florida’s leading pediatric facility, Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, jointly developing the largest, most comprehensive pediatric radiation oncology program in all of South Florida.

Paired with the most advanced and comprehensive suite of radiation therapies available anywhere in the nation (including Proton Therapy for children), our nationally recognized pediatric team of specialists and sub-specialists, including expertly trained pediatric nurses, social workers and child life specialists, work closely with radiation oncologists, radiation therapists, medical physicists and more to provide the most personalized, precise and targeted care for every child.

Our pediatric specialty team recognizes that the best possible therapies for children require a team-based approach, providing high quality, innovative care to both patients and their families. That’s why we are committed to delivering the most precise, personalized treatment plan and the finest care available.

From a warm, friendly initial consultation to a play-acting simulation to help children and their family members understand fully what to expect on their cancer journey – all the way through their regular physician visits – our pediatric care team members are experts in ensuring a smooth and comfortable care experience.
