Breast MRI

Breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) may help physicians evaluate the extent of a known breast cancer, screen high-risk patients and further evaluate areas of concern found by mammograms, ultrasounds or during physical examinations.

Image-guided Biopsy

A core biopsy is a nonsurgical test to determine whether an abnormal growth in the breast is cancer. During the biopsy, specialized technicians take X-rays or perform an ultrasound to locate the abnormal tissue in the breast.

High-risk and Surveillance Programs

Baptist Health Breast Center’s high-risk breast cancer clinic is a dedicated clinical setting for patients at high risk for developing breast cancer. By definition, those women at high risk for developing breast cancer have at least a 20 percent lifetime risk of developing breast cancer.
