Hundreds of runners from Baptist Health Run Clubs in Brickell, Kendall, Homestead, Weston, Coral Gables and South Beach came together for a field trip to Everglades National Park for a “Discover Miami” fun run.
Participants completed a 5k or 10k run through the unique Florida setting. The event was led by Baptist Health’s Pineapple Run Club Pacers. Runners got the true field-trip experience, riding to the site in yellow school buses.
Runners received a “We Run the Everglades” shirt to commemorate this first in a series of Adventure Runs. The event was sponsored by Baptist Health and Homestead Hospital.
The Baptist Health South Florida News Team was there to capture the sights and sounds of the fun run. Watch it now.
