For more than two decades, Neighbors 4 Neighbors’ Adopt A Family 4 The Holidays program has matched thousands of needy families with local businesses, churches, groups and individuals who have helped make their season a little brighter.
Baptist Health Primary Care is proud to team up with Neighbors 4 Neighbors this year by adopting several special South Florida families. In 2013, the program helped more than 400 families in Miami-Dade, Broward and Monroe counties.
The Adopt A Family website allows a prospective adopter to search for a family to help. In 2013, more than 1,500 toys were collected and distributed to children served by the YMCA in Miami-Dade and Broward. Another 4,762 people were served through gift cards.
