Watch Now: 2015 Miami Marathon and Half Marathon

More than 20 thousand runners from 80 countries around the world descended on Downtown Miami for the 2015 Miami Marathon and Half Marathon. Participants enjoyed ideal conditions, with temperatures in the 50’s and a cool breeze.

Baptist Health South Florida is the official medical provider for the race and is also the sponsor of the Athletes With A Disability Division, which includes many wheelchair and hand bike participants.

Thomas San Giovanni, M.D., from Doctors Hospital Center for Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, is the race co-medical director and helps manage the Baptist Health South Florida medical tent. The medical staff treats all sorts of incidents runners face, from dehydration to sprains and other musculoskeletal issues.
