#BaptistHealthy Recipe: Summery Fruit Salad (Video)

Use fruit to demonstrate nature’s sweetness with this easy-to-make, healthy Fruit Salad recipe. It contains no added sugar, and the tastes of vanilla, mint and lime juice combine to create a flavorful dressing that’s refreshing on any hot summer day.

Ingredients:
Makes 8 servings

1 16-ounce container of strawberries, hulled and chopped
1 pound green grapes, halved
1 cup blueberries
1 cup mango, diced
Juice of one lime
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
Handful of mint leaves, finely chopped

Preparation:

  1. In a large bowl, place sliced fruit.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the lime juice and vanilla extract. Stir in mint leaves.
  3. Pour dressing over fruit and stir until evenly combined.
  4. Place salad in the refrigerator and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving.
