Baptist Health South Florida Partners With Miss Universe Pageant

Iconic businessman Donald Trump was in Miami today to announce that the 63rd Annual Miss Universe Pageant will be held in the City of Doral (although the actual broadcast will originate from the FIU Campus). The owner of the Trump National Doral Miami Golf Resort was joined onstage by current Miss Universe Gabriela Isler.

The Greater Miami Area has hosted the Miss Universe Pageant 15 times, more than any other city in the world. Mr. Trump highlighted the importance of community leaders getting involved with an organization with the global reach of the Miss Universe Pageant.

Baptist Health South Florida is proud to join the Miss Universe Organization as one of its partners. As the largest healthcare organization in the region, Baptist Health supports the Miss Universe Organization’s mission of “empowering women to be self-confident and striving to be their personal best.” Baptist Health is the official healthcare partner of the Miss Universe Pageant, which will provide an opportunity to share a message about the importance of health, wellness and prevention to the global community.
