Your Dollars Speed Innovation
Philanthropy is so integral to Miami Cancer Institute, it’s included among our “10 Pillars of Care.” At the Institute, donors support groundbreaking research to give cancer patients a lifesaving edge. Donors also help fund therapeutic programs and services that alleviate the burden cancer places on patients and families. Innovative research trials and beneficial support programs are often not funded by government or reimbursed by insurance. This is why generous donors play a major role in improving the lives of cancer patients and their families.

Our Mission
The Institute is one of the few cancer treatment centers in the world to provide every available radiation therapy technology in one location. We also are the only facility in South Florida – and one of the few in the nation – to offer proton therapy, an innovative treatment that targets cancer cells with pinpoint precision, avoiding healthy tissue. These advanced therapies are delivered by the most skilled radiation oncologists in the field.
Championing the Fight Against Cancer
Without the generosity of our community, our work would not be possible. Every day, our team of renowned cancer experts and researchers are dedicated to pioneering treatments that are changing the future of cancer care. Your generous contributions help them make a meaningful difference in their patients' lives.
"When I first met my doctor, he explained every step of the procedure — and it was as easy as he told me. Everybody I met here makes you feel like a part of their family ... and they do it because they want you to be cured."

"I'm so thankful. I have always said that we have cancer, it's not just me. It affects my kids, it affects my husband, my mom. I'm very relieved...This is the last step on a very long road."

"I'd like to say thank you, because they really helped me be comfortable here. And I want to say thanks a lot. Everyone here is so nice. There's Amanda, Amy, Lewis, Rosa, Delia, Ulrich — I will miss them a lot, and I'm really happy."
