Your Dollars Speed Innovation

Philanthropy is so integral to Miami Cancer Institute, it’s included among our “10 Pillars of Care.” At the Institute, donors support groundbreaking research to give cancer patients a lifesaving edge. Donors also help fund therapeutic programs and services that alleviate the burden cancer places on patients and families. Innovative research trials and beneficial support programs are often not funded by government or reimbursed by insurance. This is why generous donors play a major role in improving the lives of cancer patients and their families.

Our Mission

Our Mission

Miami Cancer Institute brings together world-class cancer experts and an unmatched dedication to multidisciplinary patient care, cutting-edge technology and innovative cancer treatments.

The Institute is one of the few cancer treatment centers in the world to provide every available radiation therapy technology in one location. We also are the only facility in South Florida – and one of the few in the nation – to offer proton therapy, an innovative treatment that targets cancer cells with pinpoint precision, avoiding healthy tissue. These advanced therapies are delivered by the most skilled radiation oncologists in the field.
Revolutionizing Cancer Care for Women

Revolutionizing Cancer Care for Women

With one in two women diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, there is a huge demand for advanced care dedicated to the needs of women. Miami Cancer Institute is transforming the healthcare landscape with the creation of the 115,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art Women’s Cancer Center within the Keeley Pavilion on Baptist Health’s main campus.

Our vision to deliver world-class cancer care for women, pioneering research and clinical trials and an exceptional patient experience – in one unique location – will only be possible with generous community support. Join us in our $50 million campaign to provide comprehensive, compassionate care, all with the goal of saving women’s lives.

Championing the Fight Against Cancer

Without the generosity of our community, our work would not be possible. Every day, our team of renowned cancer experts and researchers are dedicated to pioneering treatments that are changing the future of cancer care. Your generous contributions help them make a meaningful difference in their patients' lives.

"When I first met my doctor, he explained every step of the procedure — and it was as easy as he told me. Everybody I met here makes you feel like a part of their family ... and they do it because they want you to be cured."
-Regis Polance | Prostate Cancer
"I'm so thankful. I have always said that we have cancer, it's not just me. It affects my kids, it affects my husband, my mom. I'm very relieved...This is the last step on a very long road."
-Ileana Cohen | Cancer Surgery
"I'd like to say thank you, because they really helped me be comfortable here. And I want to say thanks a lot. Everyone here is so nice. There's Amanda, Amy, Lewis, Rosa, Delia, Ulrich — I will miss them a lot, and I'm really happy."
-Anayed Perez-Araica | Pediatric Brain Tumor
Bounce Back from Cancer™

Bounce Back from Cancer™

Bounce Back from Cancer™ is a partnership between the Miami HEAT and Baptist Health Foundation to raise critical funds to help the non-profit Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute achieve its vision of a world without cancer. Cancer is the second-leading cause of death in the United States. One in two men and one in three women will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetimes. Bounce Back from Cancer™ is a full court press to defeat those statistics …and YOU can help!

Funds raised through Bounce Back from Cancer™ will help Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute conduct breakthrough research and lifesaving clinical trials, right here at home.
