Baptist Health Foundation Launches Historic $600 Million Fundraising Campaign

CORAL GABLES, FL – October 7, 2024
Baptist Health Foundation today officially launched the largest fundraising campaign in the nearly 65-year history of Baptist Health, the largest not-for-profit healthcare organization in South Florida. The initiative, named Power Extraordinary: The Campaign for Baptist Health, aims to raise a record $600 million in philanthropic donations as an investment in the communities Baptist Health serves.

Miami Cancer Institute to Build Al and Jane Nahmad Women’s Cancer Center

MIAMI, FL - July 10, 2024
Miami Cancer Institute CEO and Executive Medical Director Michael Zinner, M.D., announced today that the planned Women’s Cancer Center at the Institute will be named the Al and Jane Nahmad Women’s Cancer Center. The Center will be named in honor of Al and Jane Nahmad, who have helped with leadership and governance of Baptist Health for over twenty years and who are now providing a transformational gift in support of Miami Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health.

MARATHON, FL – April 18, 2024
Nearly 200 guests attended An Evening of Gratitude benefiting Baptist Health Fishermen’s Community Hospital, which was held on April 6, 2024 at Oceanfront Park in Marathon, Florida. The event raised $350,000 as the Foundation celebrated its Giving Society members and other donors to Fishermen’s Community Hospital.
