On Thursday, May 1, Baptist Health Foundation hosted a ceremony and dinner at The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami in celebration of the Michael J. Zinner, M.D. Endowed Chair in Cancer Care. The chair will support the work of Michael J. Zinner, M.D., CEO and executive medical director of Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute and Baptist Health Cancer Care.

Bounce Back from Cancer™ Event Raises More Than $5 Million for Cancer Research

MIAMI, FL – March 24, 2025

More than 1,750 people participated in Bounce Back from Cancer^TM, a partnership between Baptist Health Foundation and The Miami HEAT, on Saturday, March 15. The grassroots annual fundraiser, now in its sixth year, brought the community together to dribble basketballs through the streets of Miami while raising money to fund groundbreaking cancer research and clinical trials at Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute.

Over 200 guests attended the Evening of Gratitude benefiting Bethesda Hospital, part of Baptist Health, which was held on Friday, February 21, 2025 at the OPAL Grand Resort & Spa in Delray Beach. Presented by Team Health and hosted by Baptist Health Foundation, the event honored members of its Giving Society and other donors to Bethesda Hospital.

TAVERNIER, FL – February 14, 2025

More than 200 guests attended An Evening of Gratitude benefiting Baptist Health Mariners Hospital, which was held on February 1, 2025 at the Cheeca Lodge & Spa in Islamorada, Florida. The event, presented by Kathy and Steve Holmes, raised over $300,000 as the Foundation celebrated its Giving Society members and other donors to Mariners Hospital in Tavernier.
