Nurse Scholars Program

Nurse Scholars Program

The Nurse Scholars Program addresses the critical shortage of nurses by offering scholarships and onsite learning opportunities to nursing students from Baptist Health’s partner schools. Since its inception, the program has provided over $36 Million in scholarships to 3,300 students- with over 95% of graduates continuing on to nursing careers at Baptist Health.
Graduate Medical Education Expansion

Graduate Medical Education Expansion

In 2020, the Baptist Health Board of Trustees approved the significant expansion of Graduate Medical Education (GME). Philanthropic support will assist with the recruitment of luminary educators, construction of modern learning spaces and provide innovative curriculum opportunities for medical residents and fellow- with the goal of retaining new physicians in the South Florida communities we serve.

Pharmacy Residency Support

Baptist Health sponsors advanced pharmacy residency programs in multiple disciplines, with the goal of training patient-and family-centered clinical pharmacists to serve the South Florida community. Through philanthropic support, pharmacy residents are able to travel to educational and research conferences to enhance their knowledge and bring best-practices back to Baptist Health for implementation.
