Our program’s mission is to provide the opportunity for students to develop into competent, knowledgeable radiographers who provide quality radiological services in a caring manner.

Radiologic Technologists are an important member of the allied health professional team. They perform diagnostic imaging examinations using complex and sophisticated equipment, while working closely with physicians and nurses in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

The Radiography Program is a six (6) semester program that focuses on preparing highly competent radiologic technologists who provide quality service in a caring manner. Graduates who successfully complete the program are awarded an Associate in Science (A.S.) degree in Radiography. Graduates are eligible to take the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification examination. Upon successfully passing the exam, participants are certified as Radiologic Technologists. Once certified, graduates may become licensed in Florida through the Department of Health Bureau of Radiation Control.
