Dr. Boyar is the PGY-1 Residency Program Director and Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator. She precepts the PGY-1 Quality Improvement & Research Longitudinal experience as well as IPPE and APPE rotations for pharmacy students from several schools. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Palm Beach Atlantic University and was inducted into the Rho Chi Academic Honor Society. She has practiced at Boca Raton Regional Hospital since 2010 and has served in several Clinical Specialist roles including quality, critical care, and infectious diseases. Additionally, she completed a Master of Public Health program with a concentration in Infection Control with dual certification in Infectious Diseases Epidemiology at the University of South Florida in 2023. Dr. Boyar is dual board certified in Pharmacotherapy and Infectious Diseases. She is an active member of numerous local and system committees and supports the department by guiding clinical initiatives.

Gwenesia S. Collins, PharmD, currently serves as Assistant Vice President of Acute Care Pharmacy at Baptist Health of South Florida North Region. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Florida A&M University (FAMU) College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Services. She began her professional leadership experience at CVS Pharmacy serving as the Regional Pharmacy Supervisor. After two years, she transitioned to a clinical pharmacist position at Henry Ford Fairlane Home Infusion Services. She continued to diversify her work experience by accepting a position with St. John’s Main Hospital as a Clinical Pharmacist. In 2007, Dr. Collins accepted a clinical pharmacist position at POH Regional Medical Center where quickly became the Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator and in 2009 became the Director of Pharmacy. One of Dr. Collins’ distinguished honors was in August 2007 when she was appointed by Governor Jennifer Granholm to serve on the Michigan Board of Pharmacy for a 4 year term. In 2011, she served as Chairman of the Board. In April 2009, Dr. Collins was honored by Florida A&M University, College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences when they inducted her into the Gallery of Distinction. In 2010 she was recognized as Cambridge Who’s Who – Professional of the Year for Home Healthcare Services and also received a nomination for Industry Expert in Home Healthcare Services. In 2012, she was recognized as one of 125 Distinguished Alumni by Florida A&M University. Her leadership training involves being a graduate of the American Society of Health System Pharmacist (ASHP) Leadership Academy, Leadership Detroit Class of Thirty-one, the Pacific Institute Executive Strategic Leadership Program, and Leadership Boca Class of 2017. Dr. Collins is a member of a number of professional organizations. She serves as the Vice Chair of the Florida A&M College of Pharmacy Apothecary Board of Advisors and President of the Faulk Center for Counseling Board of Directors.

Dr. Anderson precepts the longitudinal and elective Nutrition Support experiences. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Campbell University in Buies Creek, North Carolina. She then completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency at James A. Haley VA Medical Center in Tampa, FL. Dr. Anderson is Board Certified in Nutrition Support and Geriatrics. Her practice includes the credentialing of the surgical residents from Florida Atlantic University. She serves as adjunct faculty at Florida Atlantic University College of Medicine where she lectures in nutrition support topics to the medical students. Other interests include immunoglobulin therapy and geriatric polypharmacy.

Dr. Beatriz Jimenez Cadilla is a Clinical Ambulatory Pharmacy Specialist, providing services at the Boca Del Mar Primary Care Clinic in Boca Raton, FL. Dr. Jimenez Cadilla received her Doctor of Pharmacy from University of Wisconsin, Madison. Following graduation, she completed her PGY1 Community Pharmacy Practice Residency at Intermountain Healthcare, Salt Lake City, Utah and her PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Practice Residency here at Baptist Health South Florida. Upon completion of post-graduate residency training, she accepted a position as a Clinical Ambulatory Pharmacist at the Baptist Health Specialty Pharmacy where she helped expand Neurology specialty pharmacy services. In her current clinic, Dr. Jimenez Cadilla is responsible for providing pharmacy services including chronic disease state management, medication counseling, and assisting with medication coverage/patient assistance programs.
Dr. Kyle Mains coprecepts Orientation. Dr. Kyle Mains has served as the clinical manager since April of 2019 and previously served as a supervisor of operations. He earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University and completed PGY-1 residency at Saint Thomas Hospital West in Nashville, TN. During residency year, he completed a teaching certificate through Belmont University College of Pharmacy. Dr. Mains is Board Certified in Pharmacotherapy and maintains a consultant pharmacist license. He is co-chair of Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee and is a contributing member to multiple local and system committees. He is a residency preceptor of orientation and also precepts IPPE and APPE students.
Dr. Natalie Mella is the Surgical Services Clinical Specialist at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. She serves as a core member of the multidisciplinary team, rounding in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and providing clinical pharmacy expertise to perioperative services, including the operating room. Dr. Mella earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Palm Beach Atlantic University’s Lloyd L. Gregory School of Pharmacy and completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency training at BRRH. Following residency, she earned board certification in pharmacotherapy (BCPS) and has since continued to expand her clinical impact and leadership within the institution. She currently serves on several hospital committees, including the Operating Room Leadership Committee, Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee, Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee, and the Surgical Site Infection Prevention Task Force. Her professional interests include surgical critical care, perioperative antimicrobial optimization, and transitions of care in the surgical population. Passionate about her role, Dr. Mella is a trusted and valued resource in the critical care and surgical service teams, consistently contributing to high-quality, evidence-based patient care.

Dr. Jade Diana Montejo is a transitions of care pharmacy specialist, and precepts the Transitions of Care I rotation. She received her Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the Gregory School of Pharmacy at Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2015, and her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency training at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. She is Board Certified in Pharmacotherapy and completed a Teaching Certificate Program at Nova Southeastern University College of Pharmacy. Upon completion of her PGY1 residency, Dr. Montejo helped establish the outpatient pharmacy services at the Florida Atlantic University Clinic affiliated with the hospital. This service consists of working in a collaborative setting with physicians and medical residents to optimize drug therapy, answer drug information questions, present topic discussions on treatment guideline updates, and counsel patients on their medications and chronic disease states. The services also includes making cost-effective drug therapy recommendations, dispensing free medications to the underserved communities, and helping patients enroll in patient assistance programs. Additionally, Dr. Montejo started the inpatient Transitions of Care Program at Boca Raton Regional Hospital where the pharmacist plays an instrumental role in helping to facilitate the hospital discharge process. This involves providing thorough admission and discharge medication reconciliation reviews, making recommendations to optimize drug therapy, discharge counseling, and assisting with medication access needs to improve patient care and satisfaction, as well as help reduce hospital readmissions rates for high-risk patients. Dr. Montejo is an active member of the Transitions of Care Committee, Readmission Taskforce Committee, and Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee. She also serves a mentor and precepts pharmacy students from different colleges of pharmacy in the state of Florida.

Dr. Ramos Morales is the Pharmacy Manager at the Lynn Cancer Institute and serves as the outpatient oncology preceptor. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Puerto Rico (UPR) in 2014. Dr. Ramos also completed a Master’s degree in Medicinal Chemistry at the UPR and her thesis was on warfarin pharmacogenomics. She completed her pharmacy practice residency training at Miami Veterans Administration Medical Center (VAMC) with a specialty in Health System Pharmacy Administration. Prior to joining Baptist Health South Florida, she worked as Enterprise Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator at Cancer Treatment Centers of America and as a Medical Science Liaison at Eli Lilly. She previously served as the Medication Safety and Quality Clinical Coordinator at the Miami Cancer Institute where she monitored, evaluated, and collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to prevent medication incidents in the ambulatory, inpatient, research and specialty pharmacy oncology settings. She obtained ASQ Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification in 2021. She precepts both pharmacy residents and students in oncology, oncology informatics, and administration.
Dr. Paz is the Medication Safety and Quality Coordinator. Her educational journey began at Nova Southeastern University's College of Pharmacy, where she earned her Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. Realizing the importance of understanding the business side of healthcare, she also pursued and successfully completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Nova Southeastern University's Huizenga College of Business. To further enhance her clinical skills and knowledge, Dr. Paz pursued a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. This residency experience allowed her to gain valuable hands-on experience and specialized training in various aspects of pharmacy practice. Demonstrating her commitment to professional growth and excellence, Dr. Paz is Board Certified in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS). Additionally, she completed a Teaching Certificate Program through the University of Connecticut School of Pharmacy, highlighting her passion for educating the next generation of pharmacists. Recognized for her leadership qualities and commitment to fostering a supportive pharmacy community, Dr. Paz serves as a Co-Chair of the Pharmacy Wellbeing and Belonging Committee. In this role, she actively works towards promoting the wellbeing and inclusion of pharmacists. Dr. Paz continues to inspire and empower future pharmacists through her mentorship and commitment to excellence.
Dr. Roman precepts the longitudinal Pharmacy Operations experience. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Nova Southeastern University College of Pharmacy in 2019. She then completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency at Holmes Regional Medical Center located in Melbourne, Florida. Prior to joining the Boca Raton pharmacy team, she worked as a Clinical Staff Pharmacist at Holmes Regional where she rounded with the internal medicine team. Her interests include critical care and infectious diseases.
Dr. Lauren Russell precepts Infectious Diseases. Dr. Russell earned her Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences degree in 2019 and Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2022 from the St. Louis College of Pharmacy in St. Louis, Missouri. Following graduation, she completed her PGY-1 pharmacy residency and PGY-2 infectious diseases pharmacy residency at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She joined Baptist Health South Florida in 2024 as the infectious diseases clinical pharmacy specialist at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. She is interested in immunocompromised infectious diseases, gram-negative resistance, and antimicrobial stewardship. Outside of work, she loves trying new restaurants and walking her Yorkie, Jawa.
Dr. Romanos precepts the Internal Medicine 1 core and Internal Medicine 2 elective core rotations. She also precepts APPE students on their internal medicine rotation. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from Nova Southeastern University School of Pharmacy. She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore in 2012. She has had many pharmacy roles in different specialties including being the Clinical Pharmacist in the Anticoagulation Clinic at Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, rounding on the Geriatric unit at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan and being the Pediatric Acute Care Pharmacist at the University of Kentucky Children’s Hospital. Dr. Romanos is Board Certified in Pharmacotherapy. She is an active member of the Pediatric Clinical Optimization Committee and the Maternal Hemorrhage Multidisciplinary Committee. Her practice includes working closely with the interdisciplinary internal medicine team to detect and resolve medication related problems and make evidence-based, patient-centered medication therapy recommendations. Her areas of interest include anticoagulation, hypertension and hyperlipidemia. When she is not rounding or precepting, she is typically spending time with her husband and two little kids who keep her very busy.

Dr. Tulloch coprecepts Orientation. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Mercer University College of Pharmacy in Atlanta, Georgia and then completed her PGY1 pharmacy residency at the Bay Pines VA Medical Center in St. Petersburg, Florida. She serves as the Operations Manager for the Department of Pharmaceutical Care. While overseeing operations, she is an active member in the Medication Safety Committee. Dr. Tulloch oversees the pharmacists and the technical staff.

Dr. Ulloa serves as the neurology clinical pharmacy specialist at the Marcus Neuroscience Institute, collaborating within a multidisciplinary care team with a primary focus on acute neurologic disorders and neurosurgical care. She precepts the PGY-1 pharmacy elective neurology rotation and APPE students. Dr. Ulloa actively contributes to the organization's Stroke Council, Critical Care Committee, and P&T Committee. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of South Florida College of Pharmacy and was inducted into the Rho Chi Academic Honor Society. Following graduation, Dr. Ulloa completed her PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Upon completion of her residency, she commenced her clinical practice experience at Cleveland Clinic in Weston, Florida, serving as the critical care specialist for three years, with responsibilities spanning medical and surgical intensive care units. Subsequently, Dr. Ulloa acquired the emergency medicine pharmacy specialist position for five years, during which she successfully established a new service within the institution. Her professional activities include peer reviewing for the Annals of Pharmacotherapy and acting as a field test reviewer for the ASHP Critical Care Review Course.
