Baptist Health Education Center at Baptist Hospital is a state-of-the-art facility designed to revolutionize healthcare education and training. The 38,000-square-foot building provides a comprehensive, multidisciplinary learning environment for healthcare professionals and includes space for the Early Learning Center. It features 10 fully equipped surgical and medical simulation rooms, a virtual reality room, specialized spaces such as an Emergency Department room, eICU, hybrid OR, trauma bay and outpatient exam rooms to replicate all types of medical scenarios and clinical events. The facility also includes dedicated debriefing rooms, procedural skills labs and classrooms.
The Center uses the latest technologies to help nurses, allied health professionals and physicians elevate training, master competencies and innovate treatment. The immersive environment recreates real-life patient experiences to foster experiential learning with professionals working together and performing different roles.
