Nancy Batista-Rodriguez

Nancy Batista-Rodriguez is chief executive officer of Baptist Outpatient Services, a rapidly growing division of Baptist Health dedicated to expanding access to high-quality care across the region. In this role, she oversees a network of nearly 70 outpatient facilities providing advanced diagnostic, surgical, endoscopy, infusion, sleep, urgent care and emergency services throughout Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties, including Baptist Health Hospital | Doral, a 15-bed hospital in the heart of Doral.

Ms. Batista-Rodriguez has served the organization in various roles since 2002, when she joined Baptist Outpatient Services. Over the past 20 years, she has held numerous progressive leadership roles in diagnostic imaging, sleep care, endoscopy and ambulatory surgery.

Since her appointment in 2018, Ms. Batista-Rodriguez has led the expansion of outpatient services across South Florida, including the opening of Baptist Health Hospital | Doral and multiple urgent care and ambulatory surgery centers. She oversaw the launch of the first standalone cardiac ambulatory surgery center and grew the off-campus emergency department service line to six locations, also supporting the development of Baptist Health’s telehealth platform, Care On Demand, now Baptist Health PineApp.

Ms. Batista-Rodriguez works in collaboration with Baptist Health’s hospitals and institutes to drive growth, enhance access and strengthen care delivery across the system. She currently serves as executive lead for Baptist Health’s Emergency Department Operations Council.

Ms. Batista-Rodriguez earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a master’s degree in Health Services Administration from Florida International University. Prior to joining Baptist Health, she held positions in a physician group practice and a local hospital.
