U.S. News & World Report 2025-2026 Best Hospital Rankings

Baptist Health is once again the most awarded healthcare system in South Florida, earning a total of 63 High-Performing honors in 31 different types of care, including for excellence in Cancer Care, Brain & Spine Care, Orthopedic Care and Heart & Vascular Care.

Cancer Care

Miami Cancer Institute earned High Performing ratings in complex cancer care, colon cancer surgery, prostate cancer surgery, lung cancer surgery and treating patients with leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma cancers. The Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute received High Performing ratings in colon cancer surgery, gynecological cancer surgery and treating patients with leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma cancers.

Brain & Spine Care

Miami Neuroscience Institute received High Performing ratings in complex neurology and neurosurgery, treating strokes and performing back surgery/spinal fusion. Marcus Neuroscience Institute was recognized as High Performing in back surgery/spinal fusion.

Heart & Vascular Care

Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute received High Performing ratings in aortic valve surgery, heart arrhythmia, heart attack, heart bypass surgery, heart failure treatment and pacemaker implantation surgery. In Palm Beach County, the Christine E. Lynn Heart & Vascular Institute was recognized as High Performing in pacemaker implantation surgery and Bethesda Hospital was recognized for pacemaker implantation surgery and for treating abdominal aortic aneurysms.

Orthopedic Care

Baptist Health Orthopedic Institute was ranked #1 in South Florida for orthopedics and recognized nationally as High Performing in treating complex orthopedic cases, hip fractures and hip and knee replacement surgery.

Baptist Hospital and South Miami Hospital are ranked among the top 10 hospitals in South Florida. Baptist Hospital, Doctors Hospital, South Miami Hospital, West Kendall Baptist Hospital, Bethesda Hospital East, Bethesda Hospital West and Boca Raton Regional Hospital earned High Performing awards in various categories. Baptist Health was also recognized for excellence in outpatient care with three High Performing Ambulatory Surgery Center ratings and earned distinction in Best Hospitals for Maternity Care.
