People with cancer are better able to deal with their disease when supported by others. Support groups can help you reduce anxiety and overcome feelings of helplessness.

Professional trained social workers at Miami Cancer Institute at Baptist Health south Florida lead numerous cancer support groups in English and Spanish. Our support groups provide a healthy environment where you and your family members can share your concerns and ideas about cancer with others. They focus on a variety of topics, including emotional support, specific diseases and treatments, and general cancer education.
