Visiting Hours
As part of Baptist Health’s patient- and family-centered care philosophy, we believe the presence of family and friends helps promote the healing process. Visiting hours are not restricted, unless it is medically necessary.
Each patient may define those individuals who are most important to them, which may include, but is not limited to, family, friends, or other support persons. Each patient may modify his or her visitation preferences at any time during his or her care. Children should always be accompanied by an adult, other than the patient.
Most of our hospitals close their main doors in the evening to ensure a restful nighttime environment. At that time, visitors are instructed to enter through the Emergency Department. See below for additional information.
