Learn how education, screening and early detection can benefit you or a loved one by attending the free seminar “Truths and Myths of Diabetes” being offered by Homestead Hospital on Tuesday, November 10, 7-8 p.m. in the Homestead Hospital Auditorium. Attendees will receive the most accurate, up-to-date information on diabetes including methods of prevention.
Lois Exelbert, R.N., director of Baptist Hospital’s Diabetes Care Center, will discuss the truths related to blood glucose control, diet, exercise and medication. The hospital is located at Campbell Drive (SW 312 Street) and SW 147 Avenue in Homestead.
