Mariners Hospital is offering a free six-week, smoking-cessation program. The program starts Thursday, Oct. 8 and continues on successive Thursdays through Nov. 12. The session will be held from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Mariners Wellness Center, 91550 Overseas Highway, Tavernier. The program’s certified facilitators include respiratory therapists from Mariners Hospital.
