Childbirth Classes for Baptist and South Miami hospitals
Baptist and South Miami hospitals offer a series of programs to prepare you and your family for your baby's arrival. The classes add to your understanding of pregnancy, the birth process and the transition to parenthood. It also enhances the experience for families in the childbearing year. Baptist Hospital is now offering a new and exciting online childbirth education program. It’s perfect for moms who are on bed rest, couples with time or scheduling conflicts, or parents in need of a refresher course.
Our 109-page interactive tutorial will walk you through the three stages of labor and provide you with birth/pain management options and comfort measures to optimize the birthing experience. A tutorial book and numerous video segments and illustrations will aid in your understanding of what to expect before, during and after labor. You can even take a video tour of the Family Birth Place at Baptist Hospital.
