We have volunteer opportunities from Miami-Dade to Broward County. Baptist Outpatient Services has ambulatory surgery centers, urgent care centers, diagnostic services and business support areas. As a volunteer, you will make a valuable contribution and a positive impact on our community.
The following facilities or services encompass Baptist Outpatient Services: Baptist Medical Plazas at Beacon, Coral Gables, Doral, Miami Lakes, Palmetto Bay, Tamiami Trail, Westchester, West Kendall, Coral Springs and Davie; as well as Baptist Outpatient Center, Medical Arts Surgery Center at Baptist Hospital and South Miami Hospital, Baptist Mammography Center at The Falls, Baptist Health Home Care, Baptist Executive Health and Baptist Health Breast Center.

Adult requirements to join:
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Pass a tuberculosis screening provided by Baptist Health.
• Wear a uniform and ID badge, at a cost of $25.
• Turn in two reference forms provided by Baptist Outpatient Services Volunteer Program.
Teen requirements to join:
• Be at least 15 years old.
• Have no more than three excused school absences and four excused tardy records in one grading period.
• Have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
• Agree to fulfill a minimum three-hour shift per week and complete 75 hours to receive a completion letter.
• Be able to work in any department that needs a volunteer, excluding departments in which family members are employed.
• Pass a tuberculosis screening provided by Baptist Health.
• Wear a uniform and ID badge, at a cost of $25.
• Turn in a teacher reference form, provided by Baptist Outpatient Services.
